Last week sometime I watched a movie on television about 2 dogs and 1 cat. (The name of which now escapes me} Their owners were on vacation, so the trio was at another friend's ranch. When that person went away for the day, the trio decided to "go home" and not wait for their family to come and get them. Needless to say, they got into trouble and ended up at an animal shelter. Well, they got out of there and continued on their long and mapless journey. Eventually they all made it home for 3 reasons.
1. They followed their hearts.
2. Trusted their instincts.
3. Kept on traveling.
What would happen to us if we decided to reach our personal goal or goals by using those same techniques? Would we be able to reach our goal if we followed our heart? I believe to have your goal be attainable you have to follow your heart. Then what? I have to have some kind of know how or instinct to get started on working towards my goal. I have to have a direction to be traveling. I just can't start out blind without any ideas. There has to be a starting point. Then what happens if I hit a snag or get discouraged? Do I give up? Would giving up help me attain my goal? Certainly not. I have to pick myself up and keep traveling just like that trio of animals did. Isn't that how any animal makes it back home? They don't have it in them to give up. They have that ongoing drive in them to get home.
We can do the same. We can keep our destination close at heart and bypass distractions and have the strength to endure roadside problems. We can make it home.
Dear Lord,
Help me choose every right path, avenue and highway necessary to arive at my goals, my home. You are the God who performs miracles. You know how lost I can get on my own. Thank you, Lord. Amen

Hello! I finally got to read some of your blog. I really enjoy it. You're an interesting writer. I'll be back when I get some more time. The stained glass window is absolutely gorgeous. I have a cousin that does stained glass and she's done some pieces for the children. Talk with you later, Brenda
